2015 National Results

The National competition took place in Garden Grove, CA on April 16-18. Canyon del Oro placed 4th in Division I and 5th overall in the nation with a score of 47,480. Team members from CDO are: Nicole Enos, Luisa Placencia Carranza, Michael Yuhas, Sarah Spurlin, Mason Sargent, Caleb Yetman, Martin Ramirez Araujo, and Matthew Welch. The following students took home medals and awards:

Nicole Enos was the Top Student for the Team with 8,509 points and Caleb Yetman was voted the MVP for his team ($250 award each)
On-Line National Results
Arizona was represented by two teams this year in the USAD On-Line Competition. Basis Chandler represented Arizona in the Small School Division, and Seton Catholic was the representative in the Medium School Division. Basis Chandler placed fourth in their division. The Basis Chandler team members are: Anne Cheng, Alan Hu, Courtney Fu, Christian Sierzenski, Draven Francisco, Jigisha Bagchi, Dalton Wood, River Gowin, and Shivangi Sarkar. The team scored 29,995.4 pts. The following medals were awarded:

Anna Cheng was not only the top scoring student for the team with 6,945 pts., she also was the top scoring of all of the students who competed in the national competition taking the highest scoring student award. Dalton Wood took the third place award for the overall highest scoring in the varsity category
The Seton Catholic Prep team placed 6th in their division with 25,170.4 pts and the team members are: Sahil Sandhu, L. Anthony Giaquinto, Zuanna Latocha, Amal Joy, Manny Estrella, Noah Cress, David Baier, and Nick Shrum. The following medal was awarded:
